Total safety has always been on top of MMGs agenda. Right from its inception the group focused on health, safety and environment and instills a confidence not only among its employees but also the clients who naturally preferred completion of their projects without any incidence and lost time injury. To achieve incidence-free man-hours and provide a safe and secure work environment to its employees, MMG charted out a strategy which put HSE on top of its priority list. The group chalked out several training programs and drills to ensure complete and total safety at work place. Simultaneously the group launched a continuous awareness program to generate awareness about safety among the employees, contractors and other stakeholders. Safety eventually became an obsession for MMG, an obsession of which it is proud of.
Safety eventually became a habit and the dividend of such efforts came as early as in 70s’ when Saudi Aramco awarded MMG for its excellent safety records for three consecutive years while working in the oil giant’s projects. Since then MMG has never looked back and year after year bagged dozens of award from its clients that again included Saudi Aramco as well as SABIC. It is said that “old habits die hard”, MMG continues to live with this habit of which not only the management and employees are proud of but the clients as well. The group is determined to uphold the international safety standards as its benchmark and ensure absolute safety of its employees and assets and participate whole heartedly in the environment protection of the Kingdom.
